History:
Alysia Skye
was born in Rhydin to Alyarra De'Shiya Vladslace and a father who her mother
never named. Alyarra died when Alysia was quite young, in the midst of
a war of Honor between the Blood Li'Ved and Vladslace Bloodline.
Alysia constantly found herself dodging those who killed for the Li'Ved's
and the usual vampire hunter scum floating the streets of Rhydin.
Shortly after her mother's death, many other members of the vampeals of
Vladslace Bloodline sired by Daemonshi "Scorpion" Vladslace died, renounced
the blood, or otherwise disappeared. This loss of family had a great
impact on Alysia's outlook on life. Alysia wed Daemyon Bloodshire
Vladslace in an attempt to strengthen the clan. A rift was torn between
the two, stemming from a disagreement over the vampeal heritage of Daemonshi's
son Daeniam.
Her mother's Dark Lake Manor
having been destroyed and the Fortress de Vladslace lying desolate and
overgrown with weeds, Alysia sought out a place to her call her own.
Her journeys brought her to a land called Rhilshen, where she came across
a mostly abandoned temple. A dying deity there promised her power
beyond her imagination, if she were to pledge her devotion. She swore
loyalty to a Dragon God named Lojww D'Threndtalen, becoming the High Priestess
of that dying religion, and made the temple of Rhilshen Fortress her home.
In one of many sorcerous experiment
with the forces of order and chaos, Alysia loosed a mass of Primal Chaos,
which continued to grow in strength and size beneath Rhilshen Fortress
for decades. Later, this Chaos lent strength to the diverse Skye Bloodline.
Later, Alysia formed a semi-militant
group called the Undead Association for the protection of creatures of
darkness. It was through the Undead Association she met Kalwrath,
a creature known as a Demon Scourge. As a result from a dalliance
with this Demon Scourge, Alysia gave birth in secret to a daughter, named
Alialynteri Skye - the first member of what was to be the Skye Bloodline.
Alia was kept away from dangers and politics of life in Rhydin, until Alysia
was mortally wounded in a duel with an elf. Alia then came to Rhydin
against her mother's wishes and attempted to take her mother's place.
Though Alysia was restored
to life after some experiences in Hell which seemed only strange coincidences
to her at the time, Alia eventually lost the psychic battle within her
soul. The demon-spawned daughter of the vampeal and the demon scourge
gave into her chaotic, demonic nature. Shamed by her daughter's
actions and nature, Alysia renounced Alia, disowning her from the Skye
bloodline. Alia was been forbidden to return to Rhilshen, or to claim the
name of Skye, on pain of death.
After a lengthy absence, Kalwrathe
returned to Rhydin, and demanded Alysia return with him to the planes of
Hell, as his bride. When she refused, Kalwrathe informed her that if he
could not have her as his bride, she would not be allowed to live to wed
another, and he began hunting her. Finding herself reluctant to kill Kalwrathe
on her own, as she had loved him and feared his power compared to her own,
Alysia enlisted the services of Luekas, a paladin of a Braekhal storm god,
and allowed the paladin to name his price after he had completed his task
- the death or imprisonment of Kalwrathe. Prior to Luekas departing on
his quest, Alysia seduced him.
The Lord of the Goblinoid Horde,
VileGoblin, gifted Alysia and the Undead Association with a potent crystalline
gem named the Dark Star. Alysia was welcomed and bonded into the Blood
Li'Ved bloodline, which her mother, Alyarra had been part of until a feud
between Vladslace and Li'Ved caused Alyarra to leave Li'Ved. She was sponsered
by Gabrial "SatanFury" and Arianna Li'Ved. Her Li'Ved sisters were Llillith
and and Vanessa LiVed.
Luekas was unable to destroy
the Demon Scourge, and he ultimately imprisoned Kalwrathe in a fiery mountain,
with the aid of the Goddess of Life, Illia. Three bloodstone rings marked
with the rune of Illia formed an arcane lock, which kept Kalwrathe from
escaping. When Luekas returned to Rhydin, he sought Alysia out at her home
in Rhilshen. His price was to ask for her hand in marriage or, in
case of her refusal, that she be his concubine. She initially agreed to
the latter, and he returned to his homeworld of Val, to campaign in a holy
war. Luekas and Alysia corresponded while they were away from eachother.
Alysia had grown to love Luekas, seeing the man beyond the temperamental
moody paladin, and consented to marry him. Shortly thereafter, she realized
she was with child... twins, actually. She sent another missive to Luekas,
asking that he return soon, as she did not think she would be able to travel
to his homeworld without losing the children.
Khavren Ade'rion, the second
in command of the Undead Association, and his wife Lexia were killed while
fighting for the Undead Association. Alysia Embraced and adopted their
son, Tristan. Her twins, both female, were born in Luekas' absence, about
one month premature. The elder twin was named Aliara, the younger, Aryana.
Both were marked with the Shadow Plague, which Alysia had contracted and
successfully fought off during her pregnancy. Aliara, however, was more
susceptible to the powers of Chaos, and was slightly weaker. Alysia had
contracted the Shadow Plague while teaching and advising at the New Hellions
Academy, with her closest friend, Emma Frost, the White Queen. It was extremely
easy for her to metabolize the mutagenic nature of the plague, however
Emma and all of the students at the Academy sucuumbed to the Shadow Plague.
Alysia belatedly discerned the nature of it, and was able to heal Emma,
who then assisted the students.
Alysia was briefly a member
of the High Council of the Elven Nation, where she learned an dazzled appreciation
for the sylvan way of life. She was released by King Elrond from
her blood oath to remain loyal to the Nation and its monarchs. Alysia felt
that she, as a creature of Darkness who is occasionally overcome by the
seduction of blind rage and lust for blood and vengeance, had no place
in an organization that professed to be aligned with the Light.
After Elrond was killed, Alysia re-joined the Elven Nation.
Alysia's daughter Alia had
been adopted by the vampire Remy LeTeav. Three months after her adoption,
she was killed in her sleep by a vampire hunter, prompting Alysia to reform
the Undead Association. Alysia captured the demonic spirit of her
firstborn within a bloodstone ring, binding it. Lirianna, Queen of the
Elven Nation, disbanded the Elven Nation. With some misguided
sense of duty and honor, Alysia took offense at those who sought to scrabble
for the remnants of political power in the Elven Nation, and she formed
the Venom Alliance (Undead Association, Goblinoid Horde, Masters of Dark
Shadows) to war with the Elven Nation. The Elven Nation attempted to avoid
the conflict by changing it's name to United Nation of Rhydin, and the
UNoR eventually lost the war with the Venom Alliance.
Tristan Skye bled his Skye
blood from his veins. A few weeks later, he killed himself. Alysia
releasted the demonic essence of her first born, Alia-Lyntreri. Lyntreri
went through two host bodies before self-destructing to chaos yet again
and losing a duel to the death.
Daemonshyi "Scorpion" Vladslace
was killed by Alysia's sister, Emma Frost-Li'Ved. The death of Daemonshyi
sparked off tensions between both clans, and eventually led to a rift within
the Blood Li'Ved. Both Emma and Alysia left the Blood Li'Ved.
With the final "death" of the
Dragon-God Lojww, Alysia had begun her studies of the tomes of sorcerous
knowledge left by the wise gold dragon, particularly those concerning the
nature of Order and Chaos. A prophet/madman elf from the province
of Destil in Rhilshen, named Karthalan, began to teach her of Rhilshen's
past and prophecies of the future. She reconciled with the Blood
Li'Ved, and began to devote her time to strengthening the Realm of Rhilshen
and it's people. She named Emma the Baroness of Mynw, a coastal province.
Emma's daughter Lledrith was named Marquess of Destil, and Alysia's adopted
son Javan was named the Lord of the Bloodfalls (a river of blood with the
River Styx of Hades as it's source). Her twin daughters, Aliara and
Aryana, were sent to stay with Gabrial and Ariana Li'Ved for a proper education.
And Alysia developed a hatred for an elf named Eric "Flame" Gooliambi,
who seemed desparate to harass her friends and family and meddle with their
lives.
She began making arrangements
to bind her realm of Rhilshen with her father's realm of the Lost Isles
of Forbidden Desire. Those plans were halted when she challenged
Eric Gooliambi to a duel, and lost her life. Her mortal body given
to the Primal Chaos beneath Rhilshen, the spirit or ka, the animating
force of Alysia, was unable to find a final peace amidst the accusations
of Eric's cheating and familial disquiet at the lost of a beloved daughter,
sister, mother, lover, etc.
Alysia's ka was drawn
to a new host after half a year of unrest - a mako-infused clone of her
younger self, created by Emma Frost. The majority of the Blood Li'Ved,
and their sentient castle, the Keep deLi'ved, became inaccesible to Alysia.
Attempts to locate her former family proved fruitless, and her attentions
were directed to strengthening her own family and realm.
Heralding the start of a Twilight
War, Javan, a demonic were-rat, discovered an enemy camp occupied by minotaurs
while scouting the borders of the recalcitrant K'Thaen province.
Oddly enough, a group of angels appeared to join the fight, slaying both
minotaurs and demon-spawn alike. During the skirmish, Javan
captured a prisoner, an attractive angel who called himself Kiriel.
Upon questioning Kiriel, Alysia ascertained that the angel was an unwitting
pawn in one of Lucifer's games, and she released him. She later found
herself pregnant with an angelic child, the product of some very vivid
dreams.
Though her cloned body bore
many changes, Alysia was uneasy about the dangerous effect of her innately
chaotic and demonic blood on the unborn child. Returning to her studies,
she resolved to lay a Pattern of Order upon the Chaos beneath her Fortress
which was representative of the chaos within. Taking nearly a full day
to complete the "drawing" of the Pattern with her own blood, she succeeded,
but at great cost to herself and her family. The cooling of the fiery Skye
Bloodline from Chaos-based to Order-based literally froze many of her direct
bloodkin. Weak from a loss of blood normally fatal to vampiric nature and
very close to death, Alysia merged with the lingering essence of the dragon
god, becoming the D'Threndtalen Avatar.
Appearance:
Wavy locks
of shimmering, multi-hued gold frame her face and fall past her hips. The
tips of pointed ears, pierced several times with shadowrings, are visible
through the luxuriant tresses. Her eyes have an elven slant to them
and are crimson with a sheen of liquid, metallic gold, highlighted
by the arch of delicately shaped dark brows. Her features are tanned, exotic
and and sensuous almost to the point of seeming alien. Her form is
marked by voluptuous curves garbed in black leather leggings and a leather
corset which leaves her arms and midriff bare, contrasting the glowing
tan of her skin. A thin stiletto bearing the Skye crest is secured
at the top of thigh-high black leather boots. Occasionally, thin black
gloves cover her hands and a dark, fur-trimmed, cowled cloak obscures her
form and features, clasped at her slender throat by a shimmering bloodstone.
The obsidian, diamond and ruby ring of the Black Queen gleams on her left
hand and her left wrist bears the black and gold scaled brand of the Chaos
Serpent. In demon-form, she is tall and voluptuous, with golden scales
covering her flesh and bright, reptilian crimson eyes. Her leathery
wings have a slightly green hue and are tipped with silver spurs shining
with venom.
Credo:
There are those that say
I am one of Darkness.
Perhaps a witch or crone,
A mother or childe,
A virgin priestess or
a wanton seductress,
A damned blood drinking
demon or dragon.
I tell you truly that
I am all of these, and much more.
