University. Assisted patrons with library materials and equipment. Compiled finding aids, instructions, and notebooks of a genealogical and historical nature. Editor of the Center’s annual newsletter. See list below.
During my time at the Center, I spent extra hours polishing my research skills by volunteering on Internet mailing list to do lookups in the following area: census records on microfilm and indexes; published New England historical
sources; and newspaper obituaries. These sources are available at the Center.
Familiar with many Connecticut repositories: town libraries, major libraries, university libraries, historical societies, and genealogical societies. I have access to vital records (birth, marriage, and death) at Connecticut town halls. All years.

Fees
   An hourly rate is charged for research, analysis, document retrieval, copying, recording findings, and reporting.  Out-of-pocket charges may include: mailings, microfilm rentals, and copies. Many libraries charge 25 cents for each copy. Connecticut town hall copies are more. CT residents pay 6% tax. (No tax due outside of CT.) No charge for traveling costs within the greater Middlesex and New London counties or to Hartford and many other towns in Connecticut.  A 50% retainer is needed to begin a research project. I accept check or  credit card payment through PayPal. The balance is due upon receipt of your materials.
