Do the EzChing dice provide the same results that would be achieved by using the rods or the coins which are the traditional method?
Yes, the same results can be expected. (With the exception of the moving line/changing line interpretations which have been addressed in the general reading that is provided)

What are the EzChing dice made of?
The dice are carefully handmade from a plasticine clay fired at low heat making them nearly unbreakable.

Are the hexagrams engraved into the dice or merely painted on the dice?
They are clearly engraved at around 1-1.5 mm deep.

Is every possible combination possible with the dice that would be possible with the wands or coins?

Absolutely, there are 8 trigrams combined to produce the classic 64 hexagrams. Incidentally this is the same number of possible combinations for a human gene. (I Ching: 8*8=64 Human gene: [G,C or A,T] 26=64) Talk about a resonant source of vital insight!

Also, I presume other texts of the Book of Changes may be used with the EzChing dice?
Certainly, you can use them with any translation of the I Ching. One of our favorites is the "Wu Wei" text popular now in bookstores worldwide. We are partial to our own interpretation because we incorporated the best ideas we found in dozens upon dozens of translations (all we could get our hands on) for the last 20 years.
