This piece of art was created by Andrea Beloff in collaboration with her son's Kindergarden class under Mrs. LaPaglia from The Washington Elementary School. Andrea Beloff had never worked with kids in this capacity and was delighted by the process and how it unfolded, as were the kids. The kids painted random patterns on watercolor papers, together they composed the beach scene as Andrea penciled it out. The shapes were mocked, traced and cut by the kids and with Andrea's help, the collage was assembled. The blank sign is there for each person owning a print to personalize his or hers own beach, ie. Nicolas' Cove, Annabel's Beach, Andrea's Hideaway, etc... The Original was donated and sold at the school's Silent Auction Fundraising event.
