Animal Safe Place
Animal House is a private animal rescue and placement organization. We specialize in bird care but we have accepted other animals depending on the circumstance. Started by the overwhelming need for a shelter that has the needs of the animal as their primary concern.
We understand that sometimes in becomes difficult for a family to continue caring for their pet, but want them to be in a loving home. Animal House is located in my home. I am the mother of two and work part time outside the home, in which case my husband is home to care for everyone. We offer round the clock care and love for dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, exotics and reptiles. I have rescued an Umbrella Cockatoo, a Lesser Sulfur Crested Cockatoo, a Tucuman Amazon, a Parrotlette, a Blue and Gold Macaw, a Hahn's Macaw, a 4-5 ft. iguana, several dogs/puppies, kittens, and various other animals. I am experienced in hand feeding and bottle feeding also. Please call us if you have any animals that need a home. We will ask no questions. I may refer you to a breed specific organization though for dogs and cats, as I do simply do not have room for all I would love to have. Thanks!!

This is Coco. He was placed with us and quickly found his place in our home. He is quite a character! Loves to show us he is a "big bird", by stretching out his wings.
