Annette Kagy
  
is a life long resident of Little Rock, Arkansas.  She expressed
an interest in art at an early age, but from a practical standpoint
entered the field of Medical Technology, and is  registered  with the
American Society of Clinical Pathologists and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Science from the University of
Arkansas at Little Rock.  The next years were filled with parenting
and fashion modeling.  When the necessity for these art forms
was over, she then was free to pursue the fine arts.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Annette works mainly in Soft Pastel on a Sanded surface, but also explores oil, acrylic and watercolor. Her latest project is learning pottery, both slab hand building and wheel thrown at the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock.

Her works of art can be found in private and corporate collections in California, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida and Arkansas.

Memberships include the Pastel Society of North Florida, Ozark Pastel Society, Artists of North Arkansas, Strawberry River Art Association and Arkansas League of Artists.

Studies have been continued with Daniel Green, PSA, Jack Hetterich, PSA, Doug Dawson, PSA, Barry Thomas, Dominique Simmons, Sheila Parsons, MSW, and other artists prominent in their respective fields.

Presently, her art is being featured in GALLERY CENTRAL, 800 Central Avenue, Hot Springs National Park, AR (501)318-4278, GALLERY ART SPACE, Dallas, Texas, and the STATEHOUSE CONVENTION CENTER, 100 East Markham, #1 Statehouse Plaza, Little Rock, AR.
