Beaded Cabachons
Below you will see pictured a rhodocrosite cabachon that I recently beaded. I used matte pink and ivory pearl seed beads and peyote stitch. The fringe and the neckstrap have rhodocrosite beads along with the pearl seed beads. The neckstrap is approximately 18 inches.
The cabachon pictured below is more than twice the size of the rhodocrosite one pictured above. I think this stone is rhodonite, but I am not certain. It is unusual in both color and appearance. I used the same matte pink and pearl seed beads as the first necklace, along with mother-of-pearl beads and used frosted matte pink discs on the fringe. Accents are gold. This necklace is long.
