I purchased my Blue Mica 2000 MR2 Spyder on May 25th, 2000. Above you'll find one of the pictures my dealer took before I left to bring my car home. I have other pictures of the car but until I get around to updating my entire page I'm not going to do it half assed so I left them out. I will be adding more shortly and have added one already at the bottom of this page.
My first car was a 1979 Prelude with a Hondamatic transmission. I've heard that this kind of transmission was only available on that car in that particular year. Basically, it was an automatic with "P"ark, "R"everse, "N"eutral, and a 1 and 2 gear. No clutch was involved and you started the car in 1 and when the RPM were high enough simply let up on the gas and pushed it into second. Very interesting car and very fun to drive. I started my first work on the car by painting it black from it's original Honda Silver. The interior was maroon and not in the best of shape, however black seat covers remedied that problem. I ended up giving that car to Goodwill and taking a tax write off in the summer of 1995 after graduating college because it overheated and warped a few costly parts of the engine.
My second car was a 1986 Honda CRX Si. I purchased it shortly after the death of the car above in Springfield, VA. I use to have pictures posted here to view but I took them down since I sold the car on August 25th, 2000. Unbelievably, I was able to sell the car for 400 dollars under what I paid for it 5 years prior to that!!!!
This site however is about my newest addition to my list of cars owned. I've got quite a few pictures of my new MR2 and will posting them up as I get around to updating this page. I'll be updating this page frequently hopefully with helpful information and additions/transformation to my car so keep this site in mind when looking for information.
