Listed below are a few Armageddon-related links (Updated 2/24/2008):

Don Adams On MySpace:

"Missed it by that much ...!" Noooo, not that Don Adams, the other Don Adams, the writer/director/editor extraordinaire who was partly responsible for such films as SHRECK (um, not the one starring the voices of Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy), VENGEANCE OF THE DEAD and JIGSAW. Bug him today about his shoe-phone!

The American Diabetes Association:

Obviously, this is one organization we should all hope is forced to disband one day soon because it's no longer needed. Until then, this is the definitive resource for the millions of diabetics in our country -- myself included -- looking to get information, advice, support and to create awareness for this terrible disease.

American Independent Productions:

Probably one of my biggest regrets in life was the fact that I moved out of L.A. in mid-1998 and had to pass up writing INVISIBLE MOM 2 for legendary B-movie filmmaker Fred Olen Ray. For those of you who are fans of his fifty-plus contributions to the world of cinema , or for those of you who need a quick education on the subject, this site is for you! Yes, here, you can even purchase some of his work, as well his excellent CD of schlock movie-oriented guitar instrumentals (I own one; it's very cool). When the hell does this guy sleep?!?

Armageddon Music:

Our other site, this one devoted exclusively to the promotion of all musical endeavors on our small but scrappy record label! Chock full o' news, bios, free downloadables and info on our current and upcoming releases, including where to buy and download! Get there now! We need the money!

Allen Richards' B-Independent Empire:

After stumbling over critic Allen Richards' mind-bogglingly hateful reviews of KINGDOM OF THE VAMPIRE and ZOMBIE COP, followed by a slightly less-hateful review of BLOODLETTING on his site, I did what anyone in my position would do: I befriended the guy! Since then, he's been a huge supporter and the scariest drinking buddy I have ever had. As proprietor of one of the largest independent message boards on the 'Net, Richards organizes chats, reviews movies, hosts charity drives, interviews B-movie celebrities and is considered by many folks to be a big part of the glue holding this crazy industry together! If you don't feel like surfing, you can even sign up for his B-Movie Mailing List . I never did convince the bastard that KINGDOM was a good movie, though ...

Conlan Press:

A small publisher with an extremely worthy cause: to help legendary fantasy author Peter S. Beagle ("The Last Unicorn", the screenplay for Ralph Bashki's animated LORD OF THE RINGS) receive some, if not all, of the profits due to him from his endeavors. In some cases, you can order the item with a personalized autograph from the author and know that fifty percent of the sale is going directly where it should. If you're a fan of Mr. Beagle's work, this is the only place you need to go!

Coverscript.com Screenplay Services And Resources:

Help to the producer, screenwriter, writer or somebody with a great idea for a movie. Services include: story analysis, ghostwriting, rewriting and adaptation from novel to screenplay. Resources include: screenwriting tips, contests, advice by a top judge and film industry/writing links.

Darkside:

Fortunately for me, one of my all-time favorite bands was yet unsigned to a major label back in 1997 and I was able to use two of their songs -- including the incredible "Dream Of Witches" for the opening credits' sequence -- on the BLOODLETTING soundtrack. Of course, these guys are gonna be a big deal one day and then, I'll be lucky if I can get into one of their concerts by paying a scalper two hundred bucks for a back-row seat. Sigh. In the meantime, peruse their chunk of the Web, which gives detailed information about their work, their brand-spanking-new CD, and, if you happen to be in the Kansas/Missouri area, info on their upcoming concerts!

James L. Edwards' MySpace Page:

Oh, God. The world's foremost self-publicity whore finally decided to join the 21st century and set up shop on the Internet's equivalent of a karaoke singles' bar. Will any of us survive? Probably not. If you can get past his unholy love of Rob Zombie's cinematic output, you may even make it to the trailer for his upcoming film, JUNE 9, which also has its own spiffy Web site!

Film Connection:

Special thanks to Michael Caroff for providing this link! For anyone who is trying to break into the industry and looking for a break, Film Connection is an entertainment industry talent placement service with 5,000 students worldwide who train on-site at major film studios, video production companies, radio and TV stations, recording studios and record labels.

Film Threat Online:

I loved the magazine from Day One and the site continues on in that fine tradition. If you're mad as hell about the crap Hollywood insists on shoveling down your throat these days (like I am!) and you don't wanna take it anymore, let these guys do the dead-on ranting for you! And if you're too lazy to click onto the site every week, they even thoughtfully provide you with entry into their mailing list! Now with a glowing review of the BLOODLETTING Special Edition DVD!

Jeff Dylan Graham:

This young upstart is one of the hardest-working B-movie actors in the business, and has appeared in everything from highbrow features like SELENA to stuff the Oscar committee might have somehow overlooked, like DEAD AND ROTTING.

Robyn Griggs:

The official site of stage, television and film actress Robyn Griggs, who's done everything from a recurring role on the daytime soap opera ANOTHER WORLD (as fan favorite "Maggie Cory"!) to acting as hostess of the annual Twisted Nightmare Weekend horror convention in Akron, Ohio. She also provided the vocals for our own "Love's Young Nightmare"! Stop by and see what she'll be up to next!

Kristy Langford's GATES OF GORE:

The nastiest-sounding site on the Web is actually run by one of the nicest people you'll ever meet: Armageddon buddy and longtime BLOODLETTING supporter Kristy Langford. No, I don't pay her to write all that stuff (though, there's a thought!), but the gal has now posted not one, not two, but three reviews of BLOODLETTING, as well as a nifty interview with yours truly! And there's no question she's a huge fan of horror; if you doubt it, just peruse the online list of her amazing horror movie collection! She's also a reviewer, a journalist and an avid lover of bad Eighties' rock music. Drop in and check it out (and tell her you like BLOODLETTING, or she may hurt you!).

Pink Floyd:

Well, if I have to explain to you who these guys are, you can just forget it, pal! The preferred listening choice of Armageddon Productions (and many, many, many other human beings!), Messrs. Waters, Gilmour, Mason and Wright more or less changed the sound of rock and roll forever when they put out a little collection of songs entitled "Dark Side Of The Moon" back in '72, inspired acts like Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead, taught us all to appreciate psychedelic laser light shows and giant flying pigs and even motivated my own music work with their ground-breaking approach to "concept rock". It's not like they need the publicity or anything, I'm just putting the damn link out there. Check also into the official Roger Waters site, the band's former lead singer and the musical mastermind behind "Animals" and "The Wall", with news, touring info and a little background into that opera he's been writing ...

Rapid Heart Pictures:

The online home of my frequent employer, B-movie legend David DeCoteau, who's now probably on par with his idol, Roger Corman, for the sheer amount of film careers he's helped launch (or movies under his belt)! I keep trying to convince him to feature more women in miniskirts in his films, but he ain't budgin'! His recently-reworked site now provides access to his blog, his Yahoo! Forum, his IMDb page and his online store, so, if you're a fan, get there NOW!

Scared Stiff Reviews:

You pretty much can't go wrong with a B-movie review/article site that also features Eighties slasher icons like "Cropsy" from THE BURNING on their "Most Wanted" list! Run by dynamic brother/sister duo Geno and Melissa McGahee, this well-designed and amazingly well-written Web shrine to all things schlocky and obscure may well have you yearning to dust off your videodisc copy of KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE by the time you're done perusing it!

Secret Scroll Digest:

Great movie site and print magazine, where contributors like site guru/publisher Mike Haushalter treat their B-movie subjects with some A-list insight. Definitely worth checking out, either online or on the printed page!

M.J. Simpson:

One of Britain's premiere movie journalists/reviewers/lovers of schlock, Mr. Simpson has been a stalwart defender of the classics (he was Douglas Adams' unofficial biographer and made headlines around the world when he angrily derided the questionable Hollywood adaption of HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY) and the not-so-classics (the "Ultraman" series). His articles, reviews and interviews (yes, he even interviewed me!) are well-written and refreshingly objective, though we might have to really question his taste in movies after this BLOODLETTING review ...

Jeffrey Sisson:

Makeup artist-slash-actor-slash-filmmaker-slash-Bigfoot death metal guitarist and indicative of the company I keep, need I say more? His beard will haunt your nightmares ...

Something Awful:

Best satire site on the Web, reminiscent of vintage "National Lampoon" magazine-style humor that pulls no punches. Sure, they trash a few of my movies in the "Movie Review" section (hey, who hasn't?), but I go for everything from "Your Band Sucks" to "Photoshop Phriday" (if you don't laugh at one member's reworked Fifties' sci-fi comic book cover that now reads "True Stories Of The Bible!", or what they do to subjects like the cover of a children's book entitled "Will They Fly A Plane Into Our House?", you just ain't human!), and such insanely dead-on parodies as "The Awful Movie Database".

Eric Spudic:

Home of screenwriter/actor/filmmaker/prop manager/B-movie journalist who showed up in MICROSCOPIC BOY (that's MICRO-MINI KIDS to you Brits in the audience, where the film plays religiously on the British version of the Hallmark Channel!)! Check it out!

Brinke Stevens:

Ordinarily, I'm not one to get all choked up over a movie actress, but this is one of the original ladies for whom the term "Scream Queen" was coined, and who continues to define that standard to this very day as actress, journalist, screenwriter, the model for her very own comic book character (in a comic titled, you guessed it, BRINKE OF DESTRUCTION), producer and, soon, a director. Aside from sporting a resume that envelops everything from THIS IS SPINAL TAP to TEENAGE EXORCIST, she also starred in my very first professional writing assignment (hosting the SHOCK CINEMA documentary series, which I co-wrote) and later classing up the joint in a major way on the films WITCHOUSE 3: DEMON FIRE and THE FRIGHTENING! Drop by her online home and see what all the damn fuss is about! Now also on MySpace!

Sub Rosa Studios:

Formerly Salt City Home Video, "www.b-movie.com" really lives up to its domain name, with an extensive Internet-based mail-order catalog of genre videos, DVDs and assorted B-movie paraphenelia that ranges from 35mm., studio-produced fare, all the way down to, er, CHLOROFORMED CO-EDS (hey, I guess it takes all kinds to make the world go round, ya know?). Proprietor Ron Bonk also has a comprehensive look into his own company's impressive array of direct-to-video productions, as well as an online b-movie magazine (in which I was interviewed!), the annual "B-Movie Hall Of Fame" awards and the likewise annual "Shot-On-Video Hall of Fame". Be prepared to look around for a while!

Sunstone Pictures:

Filmmaker Michael Ricks was originally responsible for one of the unsung classics of Super-8 filmmaking back in the early Nineties: ALIEN VOWS, which mixed a schlocky homage to such Fifties' sci-fi classics as I MARRIED A MONSTER FROM OUTER SPACE with (then) state-of-the-art CGI effects and miniatures ... and did it all completely on his own. Since then, he's carved out a niche for himself as a Las Vegas-based HD videographer, and will be returning to the director's chair shortly with his HD ALIEN VOWS remake THE LAS VEGAS ABDUCTIONS.

THRAE.com:

Here's a link to a great independent filmmaking site, run by Armageddon buddy and upcoming indy guru Todd Ponstler. The site helps promote such fare as our own BLOODLETTING, gives loads of filmmaking tips and tricks and now even features a completely electronic (and, for now, completely free!) magazine, downloadable as a series of .pdfs!

Type O Negative:

Perhaps the greatest goth-rock band in the history of mankind (and only beaten out by a smidge for a personal all-time favorite band by the legendary Pink Floyd), this official site is just as cool as their music. Get insight into lead singer Peter Steele's nurturing, caring side, as well as .mp3's and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of their mind-blowing albums. Not recommended for James Blunt fans.
