Sharing With Jennie's Dear Ones
Forgive me if I cannot keep up with everything that is going on right now, I am trying & doing my best but you all...YOU! JENNIE'S DEAR ONES are performing miracles out there right now & I find that the most precious thing that I can do at this point is to let all this beauty, magic, & love flow as everyone creates this magical circle of love & caring that puts such a beautiful halo on "OUR DEAR ONE" Jennie LeFevre
I feel a need to pass this on with the hope that it helps others out there like it is helping me right now...
Some of you may know of Steven May...His picture is on the quilts...It is the little boys square. Jennie & Steven never got to meet in person. His parents, Linda & Larry May met later & became very dear friends. (Yes, another one of Jennie's magical hugs!)
My husband, Henry & I had the priviledge of meeting Linda & Larry last year while working a quilt display with Jennie in Flint, Michigan. (Neither Henry & I will ever forget it!) We spent a precious evening with Jennie, Linda, & Larry ....We learned of Steven & his story.
Recently while Henry & I were in Caro, Mich. displaying the quilts I happened to look up & there stood Linda & Larry! They had come to visit Steven! It was really great to see them...like old friends! Hugs flowed & even tho Jennie was not there we exchanged enough of them to take back to her!
After sending out the email about Jennie's passing, Linda & Larry sent this brief response back to us & it has touched me very deeply.....
Jennie has now met everyone on those quilts. She will have a ball with Steven & he with her.
Stay in touch, friends
XOXOXO
Larry & Linda
These words are short but so uplifting & I hope that they will help you as they have me.
I emailed once more to Linda & Larry asking them for good picture of Steven for the project here...they responded almost immediately....
Hi Shelia,
Here is our baby doll. We truly envision Jennie scooping him up in her arms, having known him from the instant she got there. You know howshe always gave her hugs....well, she's hugging our boy for us until we can again.
Love,
Larry & Linda
No matter what I say or do I just cannot find a better thing to say to anyone out there right now...this says it all to me as I hope it does to all of you!
To Quote Jennie "The Quilts Speak For Themselves"
OUR DEAR ONE'S HALO IS DEFINATELY SHINING BRIGHTLY FOR EVERYONE TO SEE & FEEL RIGHT NOW! LUV, SHELIA & HENRY
