"off the wall places"
Places you shouldn't miss.....a little crazy!
I
1. "Silvio's New Redford Italian Bakery and Museum"
In Redford,  located on the South side of Plynouth Road, between Beech Daly and Inkster Roads.    Great food, grape vine covered outdoor patio, sculpture courtyard filled with his 2-ton cement creations.

2. LAKESHORE DRIVE. EAST OF DETROIT
Take a drive along the shores of Lake Saint Clair via Jefferson Avenue.     As you drive along the lake note the 2-20 million dollar houses to your left.

3. HAVE LUNCH AT THE DIA.   PEOPLE WATCHING.
Make a point of having an ok lunch in the courtyard of the Detroit Institute of Arts in the New Center Area.     People watching is the primary reason for being here!     Food is really pretty good.

4. VISIT THE DETROIT ZOO ON BELLE ISLE
Although the Zoo on the island is small, it is worth the trip.    The viewing area is high above the animals and allows a very different view!
