The 'veil' provided by traditional lingerie and foundations adds a fascination and intensity to the visual experience of the female form which cannot be simulated in any other way. It's more than just 'fetish' (a word which has become associated with leather, bondage and bizarre apparel, almost exclusively, despite its much broader meaning,) it is also the association with frank femininity connotated by these garments. People of both sexes who enjoy images of lingerie have many reasons for their preference, and may combine it with any number of other erotic interests. As many of you know, I founded my three sites - Bandeau Boudoir, Sylvia's Bridal Image Parlor, and Sylvia Aster's Place - based upon my experiences in corresponding with many individuals who find that the direct and explicit images offered by most modern erotic magazines and videos lack something. My sites are technically 'PG-rated'. There's no subject matter on any of them that can't be found in typical 'mainstream' publications and on television, readily available to everyone. I don't try to cover every frequency on the erotic/lingerie spectrum, but I know that my guests' interests are often a great deal wider than what I presnt. Enter Lingerie Lovers and Panty Art, a company which offers the widest range of erotic video and photography that we are aware of. They kindly sent us a number of sample videos to evaluate on loan, and we were most impressed with their work. The video quality is first-rate, as only high-grade equipment is used in the shoots. The subject matter runs the gamut from complete sexual scrnarios to lingerie modeling with brief nudity. Their collection of classic and modern lingerie and foundations is impressive, and they place an emphasis on detail, photographic angle, combinations of garments on the models, and on the way the apparel is modeled. Their choice of situations is often unique, and they have found some very creative ways to showcase both lingerie and models. Garments featured in their many titles include almost everything - classic 'retro' bras, rare girdle styles, petticoats, slips, half-slips, and negligee. (One video even features a bridal gown, worn with girdle, petticoat and hoop slip; this one is quite explicit, and unique in presentation.) The focus, as the company name implies, is also on panties, and they appear in every video in some way. Upskirt shots are frequent, and often explicit in what they reveal. As for categories and situations - if you can dream it, they probably have it, no matter how 'outrageous' it may seem. Don't believe me? Have a look and see for yourself! There is a catalog available by mail that covers more than the site does, and it's well worth ordering, if you have an interest in this kind of material (a sample picture is included, as has become the tradition with similar catalogs.) LLPA's philosophy of erotic video-making is that no time should be wasted on 'filler' or extraneous plot devices. Although there is some story there to set up the premise, it supports the imagery and can provide a reason for a particular situation. Sound is included on most of their releases, and this is very interesting: you may switch off the sound, if your interest is only in the images - or you may turn up the volume and listen to the dialog, along with actual conversations between the models and the videographers. The models actually have fun doing these roles, and you can tell by listening. We found this addition to be most enjoyable, and thought that it added spice to the presentation. There is not a lot of tight editing. Shots roll through preparation and re-takes occasionally, but for us, this led to a lot of fun. This is erotica, not exposition, and although I would personally like to see them produce a tightly edited piece, it really isn't a critical issue for most viewers, in my opinion. It should also be noted that LLPA offers a series of 'out-take' videos at special prices, and they look interesting, although we didn't have samples to preview. At the LLPA site, you will find detailed (scene-for-scene, almost move-for-move) descriptions of the content of available videos, so there will be no unpleasant surprises after a purchase. These videos are not inexpensive, but they are in line with the prices of merchandise offered by other vendors who cannot make similar claims to quality. LLPA is open to suggestions for new subject matter, and they listen to their customers. To us, this matters - a lot!
In my conversations with LLPA, it was established that there is probably a market for even 'softer' images (no nudity) on video, such as the subject matter found here on Bandeau Boudoir, and the exciting news is that there may be a special video - in the near future - with a direct tie-in to this site! If you would like to see this happen, write to me, or visit LLPA, and tell them! I proposed a format of modeling not unlike that of foundation and lingerie commercials on TV - almost a 'lingerie commercials we'd like to see' format - perhaps even with a bit of tongue-in-cheek. Would this appeal to you? (The video would be available from LLPA, as the Boudoir is - and will remain - a non-commercial site.)
