Either this German-manufactured bra does a lot for the lovely mature model, or she does a lot for it - it's probably both the above. This is a truly classic, purely feminine support bra, and the sheer lace cups are a real bonus.

Exquisite Form's Ful-Ly is a true classic of bra design, very no-nonsense and industrial in appearance. (This version was marketed by J.C. Penney under a house name.) The shape is unmistakable, and one can easily imagine the exceptionally shapely look it would create when worn beneath a close fitting bodice.

Here's a Warners Merry Widow longline from the late 1950's. These spectacular garments were also spectacularly uncomfortable, or so we are told by popular reports from that era. What an incredible silhouette it produces! It is interesting that these garments are almost always modeled over petticoats in ads from the era - probably because they would be very revealing otherwise.
