NGC 3242 - the Ghost of Jupiter
The Ghost of Jupiter is a planetary nebula in the constellation Hydra. It has a blue coloration, which is visible even in smaller scopes, and very pronounced in medium to large scopes. It's name is derived from the fact that it appears as a disk of approximately the same size as Jupiter. In larger scopes, with higher magnification, it's irregular disk with diffuse edges is revealed.
