Awakening Comics is now accepting submissions of comics featuring Sparky for use in future publications. Stories should be 1 to 2 pages in length. The only restriction to the content is that it should have one of the following titles:
SPARKY IN LOVE (Or: SPARKY FALLS IN LOVE, or SPARKY IN: LOVE)

If for any reason the image of Sparky's model sheet above is broken or illegible, a copy can be obtained by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Awakening Comics (click on email link for address). Art can be any size, but should follow the standard comic book proportions (i.e. the height of the page is 1.5 times the width). High quality photocopies are acceptable.
Amateurs and professionals alike are encouraged to submit---all contributions from creators at all skill levels will be considered; the more imagination involved in each piece, the more likely it will be used. Creator Steve Peters is also willing to do Sparky "jam" comics by mail with anyone who is interested in collaborating.
Peters also encourages any creators of alternative or independent comics to include cameo appearances of Sparky in their own comics. His two requests are that anyone who uses him mentions in their comics indicia that Sparky is copyright (c) 2006 Steve Peters, and that he is sent a copy of any comic in which he appears, so that it can be listed here on this very page.
Unfortunately, no payment can be offered other than copies of the comic or mini-comic in which the contribution appears.
