Sam Vs. Rudy wow. The Quarter finals came down to Cecil Kirk w/ Rudy Gay and DC Bullets (not Metro Players) w/ Sam Young and crowd, along with NCA and Duwan Wagner Rising Stars (New Jersey). When the dust settled it was the Bullets over the Cecil Kirk squad by about 12 points and the Rising Stars over NCA. Sam Young and squad had a great game against Rudy Gay and his crowd, while not trying to take anything away from any players or teams it was pretty cool to see Sam block a dunk attempt by Rudy not once but twice in the same attempt and then see the ball taken over by the Bullets for a basket. It was a fun game to watch.
The final game between the Rising Stars and Bullets was probably their best competition of the series. The Bullets were down by a few points in the early minutes, however, the Bullets so to control and never looked back. The Bullets definately have some horses in their stables. They leave Sunday for Florida for the 17U showcase and 17U Nationals.
