Friday 6 June 2003 saw the arrival of 54 of our French friends at Prestwick Airport. After being collected by Ayr Choral Union Hosts, they dispersed for their first meal in Scotland, many hosts combining to entertain several people.

Culzean was followed by lunch at the Abbotsford Hotel

Saturday morning dawned bright and we were very lucky to have the sunshine at Culzean Castle.

|
South Ayrshire Council very kindly hosted a Civic Reception in the Town Hall followed by a celeidh, dancing to the music of Cullen.

The post party concert was held at The Savoy Park Hotel, with entertainment from French and Scottish choristers.

|
Sunday morning was free time in the busy schedule with lunch parties all around Ayr.
The rehearsal at 4.00pm was followed by the concert in St Leonard’s Church.
