28 year old gay boy here. Now working in the human resources area of Wells Fargo - woo hoo! A real job! I can support myself!
I'm currently single, and I'm not desperate to find someone, but I keep my mind open. I'm not about to jump into another pointless go-nowhere relationship - better to stay single - but if the right guy does come along, then great. If not, I'll manage.
I do enjoy a few simple pleasures - good food (spicy and seafood especially... and chocolate), hanging with friends, video games, fantasy/sci fi reading, web porn, camping and hiking, and listening to music (everything from Vivaldi to Morbid Angel, Madonna to Metallica, Depeche Mode to Tori Amos, Loreena McKenett to Marilyn Manson). I'm interested in both science and the 'occult', though I lack the mathematical skills to be a scientist and the credulity to be too much a part of the 'magick' scene. My mind tends to be philosophical and mystical/metaphysical by nature, but I hate religion, at least as it is usually understood in our society. I also get quite aggitated on certain political issues, especially those involving gay rights, individual liberty, and science & technology.

Some more basic facts about me:
Ethnicity: very, very mixed. I've got French, Dutch, Mexican, and one or two different Native American tribes in my blood, and who knows what else. My extended family is very large and not very close, so the details of my ancestry are hard to come by.
Sexuality: like I said earlier, I'm gay. I like men. I've never been sexually attracted to a woman. I'm not the least bit effeminate, and I don't like Barbra Streisand or show tunes. But I don't much care about sports or cars, either.
Politics: I tend to be a mixture of radicalism and practicality. For practical purposes, I generally vote Democrat. My biggest issues are gay rights, science, and education. I absolutely will not vote for any politician who does not give support to gay rights issues, including gay marriage, anymore. I'm sick of compromises, the time for them has passed. As far as economic issues go, I believe in being practical rather than ideological, but at the same time, it's pretty scary when our country and our world are under the heels of a small, wealthy minority while the rest of us are left to scramble harder and harder for shrinking paychecks.
Religion: Religion is evil. Christianity, Judaism, Islam - all evil. Outside the realm of the 'faiths of Abraham' things are more of a mixed bag, but the Big Three Monetheistic Wacko Cults are bad, bad, bad. How can anyone actually read the Bible, or history, and still maintain the delusion that these religions are a positive force? As far as the 'culture wars' and the Christians' War in Heaven go, count me a passionate partisan in the Devil's camp.
