Here is some information about My 84 Camaro z28

Hello and welcome to my homepage. I"m going to tell you a little bit about my camaro.This camaro started out as a 6 cylinder berlinetta. I had to upgrade and change a few things  to make my current combo.
 I have a 355 c.i. SBC...a 1969 3970010 2 bolt maint block bored .030 over and fitted with SpeedPro powerforged 4 v relief pistons, moly piston rings, reconditioned connecting rods, melling high volume oil pump with a hardened oil pump driveshaft, new chrome oil pan and a chrome 1 piece timing cover.

The valvetrain consists of C.A.T. Racing 1.5 aluminum roller rocker arms which are also self aligning therefore i don't need pushrod guide plates. Lunati solid roller cam  248/248 duration @ .050   290/290 advertised duration   .555 intake and .555 exhaust lift and Lunati solid roller lifters pop up design allowing a cam change without removine the intake, Proform timing gears which i find very accurate for timing. Also a set of World Sportsman II cylinder heads machined .020 to bring them to a 62.5cc chamber fitted with 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves and Lunati dual solid roller valve springs with 10* locks and retainers mated to the block with a .018 thick Mr gasget cylinder head gaskets to give me a compressioin ratio of 10.5:1.
I have opted to delete the flex fan and go with a 180* thermostat and a electric fan with a relay kit to activate the fan to start on 185* and shut off at 165*
.
The fuel system consists of a holley blue fuel pump with an fittings for  1/2 inch aluminum fuel line from the pump to the fuel pressure regulator and 3/8 braided steel line from the regulator to the carb which is a Speed Demon 750 cfm 4 barrel mechanical secondaries carb sits atop a Victor jr single plane intake.

The ignition system consists of a MSD 6-AL with a 6800 rpm pill ,stock distributor with a bronze gear and a MSD Blaster SS coil and Moroso Taylor ignition wires and AC-Delco plugs gapped to .055.

 To transfer this power im runnin a Tremec TKO 500 transmission with a Pro 5.0 shifter to 3.73s with a posi.
Ive also added CGS Chassis subframe connectors,Lakewood traction lift bars,Tubular panhard bar and upgraded the rest of the suspension with all new parts. The brake system has all been replaced as well.

As for the body i added the Z28 ground affects and a rear spoiler and a set of American eagle alloy 16x 8 rims which now i need new tires since ive smoked em off and yes i do have a lineloc from Biondo which works awesome.

The exhaust consists of Heddman headers 1 5/8 primaries and 3 in collectors with a fabbed y pipe,holloew out catalytic converter, a Magnaflow 3 in stainless cat back with 3.5 in slash cut dual tips which sounds friggin mean.  With this combo i have i should be puttin about 500 hp at the flywheel  but only a dyno will tell exactly how much horsepower and torque i am gettin to the rear wheels.
