Our Farm
We have a wonderful flock of quality registered Border Leicester Sheep, Border Leicester crosses, and Angora goats which we raise for their fiber (wool). We process all of our own fiber on farm, and also offer our fiber processing service to the public.
We have two aged Norwegian Fjord horses that are spending their retirement years here, happily overseeing all the farm doings, while munching on carrots. Check out our "Hatching Eggs" page to see our cute little bantam Silkie chickens!

New! Now offering combed top and roving! Top is the perfect solution for long fibers, plus gets at least twice the "VM" out of the fiber versus the traditional hand carding method.
Our fiber processing service is available for those who want to have their fiber processed the old fashioned way-by hand-and at a reasonable price. Our service is exceptional and we pride ourselves in offering top notch quality to every client. All processing is done on farm. While we work with any fiber, we specialize in long fiber. We do not cut or turn away fiber that is over 7 inches-we want to retain its lovely length!
We can customize your order to fit your specific needs-regardless on if you want us to process your raw fleece into yarn, or handspin your already processed roving into yarn, or color dye your already spun yarn-we can do this.
We charge for OUTgoing weight- you are not charged for all of the "grease" and dirt that will be washed away or matts or vegetable matter that will be carded out. In addition, we use combs and hackles so are "hands on" with your fiber completely during this process. It takes longer, but the product is lovely. Typical turn around time for washing/carding is 6 to 9 weeks, depending on size of order.

Would you like your fiber handspun into yarn? Dyed? Handpainted? We can do all of this, too! To the right are just a few colors we have been asked for in the past. We can produce any color you want using a fine art acid dye (do not let this term scare you, the only "acid" used is vinegar!).
Some of our services currently offered:
Basic washing/carding service-$1 an ounce-(OUTgoing weight).
Color dye- .50 cents an ounce 1st color, .10 cents an ounce for additional colors.
Handspinning-$1 an ounce for 2 ply sport to worsted yarn. Each additional ply, add .25 cents an ounce. Fingering or bulky 2 ply yarn, add .50 cents an ounce. Mohair, Pygora, Cashmere, Suri Alpaca, and Angora add .50 cents an ounce.
