RicAli Kennel was started in 1995 to carry on the efforts to enhance and suitably introduce the Olde English Bulldogge as created by Mr David Leavitt of Spring Grove PA. from 1971 until in 1993 when he decided to turn over his breeding program and OEB breeding stock to Mr Michael Walz of what is now known as Working Dog Inc.. David retained only his office as President of the Olde English Bulldogge Assocaition, organized by him to control the Registry, OEB Standards and the Ethic code for the OEBA member breeders.

Our Guarantee is simple: Purchase a dog from us at full price, and if any time during the first two years you are not satisfied simply return the dog to us in good condition and we will replace it with another puppy. RicAli's Olde English Bulldogge

In our endeavors to retain and refine the important attributes that David's program was set on developing in his reconstruction of the 1800 century bulldog we have carefully selected the foundation stock OEB's that would create the RicAli blood line of Olde English Bulldogge. Fortunately there were some excellent Kennels, such as Valley View, Birchwood, High Plains, Thunder valley, Rawg Dawg, Royal Blood, Ol'Brit, Standing Stone, and some had come and gone, then of course their was Viper Kennel where they had in 1993 taken on David's OEB's and Program directorship, later to become Woking Dog Inc. And This is where I bought my first two OEB's (they were David's litter picks and some of the last OEB's he sold). All these kennels and some others where developing there own lines of OEB's from Leavitt foundation stock. So it has been more of a challenge determining what direction I was interested in taking my Olde English Bulldogge in accordance to OEBA guide lines and standards, then finding appropriate breeding stock.
The most important aspect of RicAli OEB's I consider to be there temperament, next there genetic health and structural integrity; Then if possiable I want them to look as awesome as the Bulldog pictured in the copy of a steel engraving from the late 1800 century at the top of this page by the name Mr. B.H. Donkins Bryon, sire, Ch, Mr. Gibbons Dan, out of Fox, by Tiger out of Rush..Tiger by Crib. And to have wonderful athleticism to perform their task as a family pet or personal gaurdian. Whatever their owner needs of them, be it weight-pull, agility, fly-ball, tracking, utility, rescue work or just a couch potato.
