This is a cowl induction set up that I made for the Chevelle. I started with a cardboard template that i taped together. After numerous test fittings, I took the template to a local sheetmetal shop. They cut the pieces out of .063 thick aluminum and made several bends. The shop only charged $45 to do this. Once I got it home, I polished it and rivitted it together. It is attached to the base of the air cleaner and is held on by the aircleaner stud. The foam around the edge seals against the underside of the fiberglass cowl scoop and draws outside air from the opening at the back of the scoop. This is cheap horsepower. The Chevelle picked up two tenths and one MPH for a total investment of about $55.
