Barbadoes Hall Press is a multifaceted imprint, focusing on literary works, woodworking and lutherie how-to books, and academic texts. Our current work in progress is a book on making stringed musical instruments, entitled LOW-BUCK LUTHERIE: HOW TO MAKE GREAT-SOUNDING INSTRUMENTS FOR A SONG! This book will demonstrate how the average home craftsman can make excellent instruments such as an Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer, a travel guitar, or a zither, using locally produced domestic hardwoods or very inexpensive birch plywood, and typical home power tools.
Barbadoes Hall Press is looking for manuscript submissions for textbooks in the area of sex offenses, forensic psychology, and courtroom testimony. We are also looking for that special work we like to refer to as "the next Oprah Book Club novel".

BACK ALLEY BOOKS is very interested in preserving the literary genre of the traditional hardboiled style as developed by classic mystery writers such as Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler, and continued in modern literature by authors such as Robert B. Parker, Robert Crais, and Dennis Lehane.
