Is it real or fake?
Here is a close-up on the how intense the detail work is done on fish. What you see here is a photo of the scales on painted rainbow trout. You can see that every scale is hand painted,airbrushed and detailed to look as real as an artist can make them.
Doing this type of work makes your fish look as though it just came out of the water and not just a dead painted fish on the wall. This is the kind of work I do on every quality fish that comes in my studio. There is only a handful of wildlife artists that can do such quality work.
