NOTE from the Page family
purchased Buttermilk Supreme April 2008
We purchased an eight-year-old Paint from Lisa and Matt at Valley Visions Paints. It is our first horse purchase and thus far has been wonderful. She
is everything we want for our young daughter. Matt and Lisa were very
helpful in getting us started. They hauled our first load of hay over and showed Alex how to do vaccinations. Lisa took time out of her busy schedule
to ride with Alex a few times and demonstrated how to do certain skills. Mocha's temperment is great. She and my daughter have bonded. I can say that we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend one of their horses!

I was looking for an all-around prospect for some time. I wanted something that I could start from ground up, and do well with. I wanted talent, looks and personality. I knew Lisa from: showing against her daughter back a few years ago, and then chatting with her from time to time at horse shows. I popped into her website every now and then to see what was new with her and her horses.
Then one day, I came across Katie. She wasn’t for sale, but she had everything I was looking for in “that horse.” But, I kept searching when finally one day Lisa e-mailed me and said that Katie was offered for sale. She explained to me her personality, her attitude, ex. Sent me pictures galore. I bought that filly site unseen except through pictures, and the odd video.
We made arrangements to have her brought up to Canada when they came up for a show in September…Imagine waiting that long for a horse you have never seen but own? That was probably the longest few months of my life!
Lisa was an angel. Sent updates, pictures, and anything else you could ask for! I was expecting to receive this amazing filly, that had impeccable ground manners, knew more than I could even dream of her knowing by the time I was going to receive her, she even had a futurity win under her showing belt.
In the end, I received exactly what I was told, plus more. Katie was better in person than Lisa made her out to be. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to buy a horse site unseen than through Lisa. You get what you want, and you get what she tells you, you are going to get and she is truthful the whole time!
I recommend Lisa to anyone. She creates quality stock, puts a great foundation on her foals, and will tell you how it is!
Thank you Lisa for letting me purchase Katie, she is my dream horse come to life!
Oh, by the way, you have not seen the last of me!

Here's a note sent to us by KC's new owners-

"We were looking for an exceptional 2-4 year old gelding with beauty, grace and a good mind for my daughter, Laura, to take with her to the John Lyon's Certification School down in Colorado. We came across Valley Vision Paints on the internet and found KC. We immediately fell in love with his beauty and confirmation from his pictures on VVP's web site. We wrote Lisa and she must have sent us a gazillion (okay exaggeration) pictures and a video of him. We talked on the phone and she answered all of our questions sincerely and honestly. We felt confident enough to make the 9 hour trip to Glasgow with our horse trailer to have a look at him. We were not disappointed. In fact, he was more than what we had hoped for. He was not only pleasing to the eye, but he had an incredible disposition with a good mind and the Baxter's did a wonderful job with his ground training and his manners. He has been more than what we could have hoped for. He and Laura are now down in Colorado (May of 2004) learning to be a team and his training is going really well.
Future plans for KC: To be a partner with Laura and help her as she puts on horse training clinics, teaching others in natural horsemanship and frequenting the show circuit.
Thank you Lisa, Matt, Erica and Bailee for KC and for sharing your home, table and hospitality with us on our adventure to Glasgow to buy our wonderful KC."

Here's a quote from Jenni: "Buying a horse sight-unseen is always a risk. I saw Scotch's Legal Beauty advertised online, about 1 week before I was to make a trip to Montana to see family. I contacted Lisa about "Ellie", and she immediately sent me via email many photos of Ellie from all angles, so I could see her conformation.
We spoke several times on the phone and I asked many questions about Ellie regarding her disposition, experience, time under saddle, etc, and told Lisa what I was looking for, and asked her if she thought Ellie would fit the bill. She did. I brought Ellie home a couple weeks later, and she blossomed into even more than what Lisa had described.
She is affectionate, healthy, quiet, trustworthy, beautiful, and had clearly been well taken care of. I am more than satisfied with my purchase of Ellie, and feel Lisa was extremly honest in describing the mare, which was especially important because I was unable to meet Ellie before purchasing her. Thanks Lisa! (Matt and Bailee, too!)"

Here is a quote from Kristi: "Jewel is the most calm and bombproof young horse I have ever been around. She is very well trained and exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled with her and highly recommend any horse that Lisa and Erica offer for sale. Thanks again"

"My family and I feel that we couldn’t have purchased a better horse for the price that we purchased Satin. From day one she responded to all of the leg cues, side passes, as well as neck reined superbly. She has been a wonderful addition to our family, and she has brought us all much joy and companionship. We got exactly what we were looking for, a good kid horse, as well as one my 12 daughter could learn some more advanced skills on. Satin is so patient and loving with our small children, she actually enjoys having them around her. She even does well around our 18 month old boy. The whole family rides her, but she is primarily our 12 year old daughter’s horse. Im really excited how much Ashley our 12 year old daughter has learned with Satin the past year and a half. Her confidence has just soared. She has done a great job at the o-mook-sees, trail rides, 4-h projects, and every day riding. I would recommend Valley Visions Paints to anyone in the market for a quality horse."
