The Club's Mission includes care for the MBLWHOI Library Herbarium (formerly the George M. Gray Herbarium) located at the
Maclean Laboratory on the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Quissett
Campus, participation as volunteers in the New England Plant Conservation Program; and various research and educational projects related to the conservation of native plant species and plant communities of the region. A procedure for preparing plants for the Herbarium has been provided by Richard Backus. The Club has business meetings monthly, usually the third Sunday starting at 2pm in the afternoon. This is usually followed by a presentation or a field trip which is announced as part of the meeting agenda. To request information
