Medic Unit #16 was placed in service in 1973, as a 'Mini-Rescue', at the quarters of T11 at I83 and North Avenue - they were reassigned as just a Medic Unit and in 1997 relocated to the Oldtown Station. In 1998 they were relocated to the quarters of Truck Company #5, at Harford and Oliver. On March 9, 2000 Medic Unit #16 moved to their new quarters at 801 East 25th. Street
