We are a nonprofit organization made up of individuals from the Northern Nevada area who are dedicated to perpetuate the common sense use and enjoyment of horses in America's back country and wilderness.
We also work to insure that public lands remain open to recreational stock use.

July 1-4 - Sand Mountain truck camp, Paula W.
July 15 - Washoe Lake Bird Sanctuary day ride, Joel
August 5-6 - Granite Chief Wilderness trail clearing, Paula L.
September 2-4 - Leavitt Meadows pack in, Don
October 14 - Washoe Lake day ride, Joel
Nov. 4-5 - Stampede area truck camp, Dave and Barb
Dec. 16 - Christmas party, vote
Remember: call the person that is hosting the ride if you want to go. We are not going to be calling to see if you want to go.

About Back Country Horsemen of Nevada
Back County Horsemen of Nevada is made up of four chapters, Reno/Sparks area, Carson Valley area , a chapter in the Elko area, and a chapter in the Ely area. They are members of Back Country Horseman of America. Back Country of America provides a central organization dedicated to preserving the historical use of recreational stock in the back country commensurate with our heritage.
