ARE YOU PROMOTING OVERBREEDING?
PUPPY MILLS COME IN ALL FORMS
A good true breeder can maintain a bloodline without overbreeding to supply a demand.
"The right home can always wait for the right dog"
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF BREEDERS
The first breeder is one that breeds out of PASSION for the breed.
They;
Breed to improve their bloodline according to the standard.
Always study a pedigree before breeding.
Never breed just for color.
Never repeats a breeding that has produced inferior dogs.
Seeks the best possible home before placing a dog.
Does their best to insure that their dogs will not end up as just breeding stock.
Only houses as many dogs as they can give personal attention to DAILY.
The second is one whom has become ADDICTED to the breed.
They;
They started out with the wrong Mentors and have the desire to be more popular.
Breeding every dog that comes through their hands, regardless of quality.
Get stuck on a look and only care to portray that type of look to promote sales.
Stop breeding to conform to the standard.
Instead devolope their own standard.
Breed for color only.
Repeat breedings that have already proved to produce inferior dogs.
Register dogs in other family member name's to avoid problems that may arise due to their dishonesty.
" LIE " TO THEIR KENNEL CLUB WHEN PROMOTING AND SHOWING ALTERED DOGS.
It is all about INCOME to them.
If this breeder will LIE to its own kennel club, what do you think they will tell you.
With this type of breeder, you must ask yourself , how often do they breed?
If they claim to have many champions, where are all these dogs now?
Alot of times these type of breeders will show their own dogs at a young age to obtain a title in order to sell them overseas at a much higher price......where their faults will not be seen as they mature.
In any case... Follow your heart as to the true ethic's of a breeder.
REMEMBER WHEN YOU BUY... YOU PROMOTE!
