You will be providing full name, mail and e-mail addresses, test desired, agreement to pay the stated cost of the DNA Test and then you provide this to the Web Master at dna.logger@earthlink.net with a descendants chart by email and your migration chart will be placed in the project's web pages. Email: BealsurnameDNA@aol.com
Each participant will continue to have their own set of pages on the FTDNA site, protected with their own access code. They should provide their own mail and e-mail addresses for those pages; plus a known or possible country for paternal and maternal origins; opt for open to allow me to enter your results on my project website under a privacy code, not private; sign the release form, when returning the DNA Test Kit.
Visit your Personal FTDNA pages and our web pages often, to check for anything new. NEW RELEASE: Customers can now order individual markers or panels for the Y-chromosome(male only), X-chromosome, and autosomal DNA. These tests can be used to broaden the possibilities for complex kinship testing (ex. sistersiblingship test). A database for comparisons is currently being developed.

.Also new is the National Geographic Project:
The Genographic Project is a real time effort to map how humankind populated the earth. through Family Tree DNA. More about it can be found there.
Being a current Family Tree DNA customer, you will be given the opportunity to join the Genographic Project without having to order a kit and perform a new test.
By following the steps on your Personal FTDNA pages, you will be able to upload your 12-marker results and/or your mtDNA to the Genographic Project and keep track of the progress of this fascinating project.
CO-ADMINISTRATORS FOR THIS PROJECT!
1. Is Ann Beal Logan
Member, Association of Professional Genealogists; Chair,Ontario,GenealogicalSociety, Halton-Peel Branch
2. Is S. James Beall
Webmaster for the DNA test results, Migration Patterns & Participants pages for the BEAL SURNAME DNA PROJECT and the new BELL DNA STUDY is at: dna.logger@earthlink.net

4. Our Garry F. Bell Is the new Administrator for the BELL DNA STUDY
Computer Genealogist, Member of New Zealand Society of Genealogists,
PLEASE, TALK UP THIS NEW GENETICS TOOL FOR GENEALOGY ON THE SURNAME LISTS, FORUMS AND MESSAGE BOARDS, ALSO USE THEIR ARCHIVES FOR MY EARLIER INPUTS.
I do recommend the 25 or more marker tests for participants who want a refined test! You may even want to go to 67 markers or take a SNP test or mtDNA test to broaden the scope of your DNA testing.
Meanwhile, there is some additional information linked on our web pages, regarding Internet resources for understanding and interpreting DNA results and haplotype comparisons in population studies. Family Tree DNA, Ltd has a library listing of DNA sources and Tutorials on their home page. I recommend DNA 101 on the BLAIR DNA PROJECT for those who are new to DNA testing.
For those wishing to get in depth discussion on DNA Testing go to the web site:Genealogy-DNA@ rootsweb.com at http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/genealogy-dna
The CLAN BELL INERNATIONAL SITE at: http://www.clanbell.org/ has a link on the their pages for this project..Also, you can join the Association at this site.
To avoid a participant mailing outside of the UK, we can now offer a UK Approved Firm, DNA Heritage (DNAH) for DNA testing of non-USA potential participants at very REASONABLE prices, with tests up to 43 markers! View and browse their website. Please contact me by email. DNAGenealogist@aol.com or our Administrators listed above for more details. DNAH maintains an upload to Ybase, another world wide Y-DNA data base for matching test results.
Sign up on the FTDNA Home page for the FTDNA Newsletter, FACTS & GENES
http://www.familytreeDNA.com/facts_genes.asp?act=past
There is a world wide web site at http://www.ysearch.org/ for DNA results. It accepts test results and compares tests of 2 or more haplotypes, regardless of the testing company, FTDNA has placed an upload link to this site on your personal page on their site. FTDNA has a new tool called FTDNATiP Report for participants, it is explained on their Y-DNA matches page and a report is available.
Go to the sites from their home pages above.See our webmaster for assistance, if you have trouble: dna.logger@earthlink.net
For participants of SCOT descent, they can also subscribe to SCOT-DNA@rootsweb.com They maintain Y-DNA results for all clans!
THE Y-CHROMOSOME SURNAME DNA TESTING STILL REQUIRES A LIVING MALE PARTICIPANT WITH YOUR ANCESTRAL SURNAME. TESTING A BROTHER, FATHER, GRANDFATHER, UNCLE, SON OR COUSIN WITH THIS SURNAME MAY PROVIDE A WOMAN WITH INSIGHT INTO THEIR SURNAME ANCESTRY. WE HAVE ALREADY HAD SOME GOOD TESTING RESULTS FOR WOMEN USING MALE SURROGATES.
Individual Security Surname Codes will continue to be used on the results and migration pages, for maximum security. CONTACT CAN BE MADE THROUGH THE WEBMASTER or COORDINATOR, IF THE PARTICIPANT IS AGREEABLE!
There is a page, Participants Identification , where participants agreeable to direct contact are listed by their earliest ancestor, project code, email address and web page address, if available, for more immediate contact from interested persons. The webmaster will create a web site for participants that rquest this service.
I SUGGEST THAT NOW IS A GREAT TIME TO AVAIL YOURSELF OF DNA TESTING FROM FTDNA or DNA HERITAGE (DNAH) at the world's most reasonable PRICES, THROUGH THIS PROJECT! For either test contact an Administrator listed above.
If you have any trouble accessing or understanding any of the recommended web sites or for general assistance, please email the webmaster.
THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THIS PROJECT
Contact FTDNA for details on donating funds to this project's General Fund for DNA testing for participants wanting to participate, but are short on funds!
Please THANK the BEAL DNA PROJECT Administrators They give freely of their time and effort to this PROJECT and STUDIES
