AUDITIONS

The Bellevue Little Theatre, an all volunteer organization, maintains an "equal opportunity" policy for volunteer recruitment of both board and production positions. Auditions are open to the general public, with the same "equal opportunity" policy. All roles are open for audition except an occasional role is precast and is so noted in the audition notice. We are always in search of talent of all ages, mostly adult. Our childrens' shows require many child actors, as do some of the other shows, as listed in the audition notices Audition notices will be placed on this page as they are announced. Bellevue Little Theatre, 203 W. Mission in Bellevue, will hold auditions for the Stephen Sondheim musical "Into the Woods" at 6:30 pm on Monday July 21 and Tuesday July 22. "Into the Woods" will open the theatre's 40th season.

A cast of strong adult singers is needed for this production which opens at the BLT on Sept. 12 and runs thru Sept. 28. Julian Adair will be stage director, with Linda Shirck serving as musical director.Those auditioning are asked to prepare an accompanied number and to wear comfortable clothing for movement.
