VTB brings home the title in the 9th Annual Spring Thunder Classic at Skyline H.S. in Mesa on Sunday with a 69-63 win over the always tough Phoenix Inferno. Derek Waddell (Goodyear Millenium) paced the Blazers with 25 points in the title game and collected Tournament M.V.P. honors as well. Jeff Hart (Brophy Prep.) and Charlie Lylte (Scottsdale Chaparral) were also named to the All-Tournament Team. Game notes to follow at NEWS AND NOTES.

We have updated our roster on the 15/u team page, updated our schedule and updated our finishes/awards page. We got off to a slow start, but after making several changes to our roster we are 9-3 over the past three weekends with a Consolation Title and for the second straight year, a 3rd place finish at the BCI Spring Tip-Off. This past weekend the team captured the Championship Trophy at the 9th Annual Spring Thunder Classic.
