The Lancaster Butterfly and Entomological Club . .
Meets at the North Museum, Lancaster, Pennsylvania The regular meetings of the Lancaster Butterfly Club are held
on the first Monday of every month from March through October (except the
September meeting which is on the second Monday) on the second floor of
the North Museum, Franklin
& Marshall College on the corner of College Avenue and Buchanan
Avenue, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The meetings run from 7:00 to 9:00
P.M. Everyone is invited to any meeting. Please
use the rear entrance and bring a friend.
Membership is open to those of the public interested in butterflies,
insects, and nature. Dues are $10/year.

"Neversink Mountain Butterfly Walk" in Reading, PA. This walk is cosponsored by the Mengel Natural History Society and the Baird Ornithological Club of Reading. Meet at south 10th St. and South St. in Reading and park on South St. Everyone is welcome. We usually see 10-15 species including Elfins, Falcate Orangetip, Cobweb Skipper, and several Duskywing species, Information: 610-987-3281 |

The North Museum will have it's annual insect weekend. This year will be buggier than ever! Enjoy programs on native bees, sericulture, insect sounds, and the ever-popular Mothman. Displays and demonstrations both days will include aquatic insects, butterflies, forest entomology, and a live observation beehive - plus - Cockroach Races, Beetle Tractor Pulls, Cricket Spitting, and much more!
