Sticky Paws by Christina Jackson
Sticky Paws bears are made by a wonderful Australian Teddy Bear artist by the name of Christina Jackson. Christina has been making teddy bears for about 6 years now. Her style is often whimsical and always very unique. As you will see below, she adds many interesting hand fashioned materials to her special bears.
MOLLY - 5" tall and made of German mohair, fully jointed, glass eyes, and filled with cotton and pellets. Molly's little foot pads are pink and she is wearing a hand-knitted pink cardigan with a matching pink hair ribbon. On her cardigan is a broach pin with a gold chain that holds her solid brass pacifier. Adoption Price is $55.00.
POPPY - A 7" tall fully jointed treasure made of clipped English, tea-dyed mohair, and German glass eyes. Her little paws and foot pads are done in reverse mohair. Poppy is wearing a beautiful lavender bow on her head with pretty material patches on her arm and foot. On Poppy's chest she sports a brass heart. Adoption Price is $90.00.
BESS is 8" tall and made of off white sparse mohair. She's fully jointed, and she has black onyx eyes and beautiful sculpted feet. Bess is wearing hand-made musslin pantaloons and camisole on which she's pinned a broach of heart charms. To top off her outfit, Bess is wearing a lovely wide-brimmed hat. Bess comes sitting on her own hand-made leather hat case. Adoption Price is $150.00.
LILLY PILLY FAIRIES - Each of these 8" tall treasures is one of a kind. They are made of antique, white sparce mohair with black onyx eyes and filled with cotton and buck shot. The Lilly Pilly's have gossimer wings, beautifully sculpted feet, and hand fashioned, beaded copper decorations to show off their unique charm. Aren't they a pip? Adoption price of $125.00 each.
