A Note From The Editor
6/5/2003
This has been an insane year for me, with everything from abscessed teeth to memory disfunction slowing up the editorial process involved in bringing out zines. Therefore, I've had to make a couple of decisions regarding AllGen Press.
First of all, I'm no longer going to have projected publication dates. In the past, I've pulled out all the stops to get a zine done by the deadline I've announced. I can't do that anymore – it takes too much out of me. I'll be working on the zines one at a time from now on, and not worrying about deadlines. When a zine is finished, that's when it'll come out. I apologize for the delays this will inevitably cause, but my health has to come first.
Second, in order to try to keep the delays to a minimum, I've added a couple of co-editors. When you submit a story to me, I may not be the one editing it. My two new co-horts have just as high a standard as I do, so this will not result in a reduction in quality. And I look over their notes, so you can be certain that I agree with any notes you see.
I'd like to thank all of you for your patience and understanding, especially the authors and artists who will be effected by this. AllGen Press will continue to bring out quality gen zines -- it's just going to be a somewhat slower process.
