The Wall/Bowls

The ultimate in "Up-cycling" post consumer papers

These delightful creations have a very substantial visual presence.  Made with a low foot and a decorative hanger, they may hang on a wall, or sit on pedestals and tables.  Light in weight, they need only the smallest nail or wall hook, even in wallboard.  Each grouping or single piece will make an impact as a visual focal point in your home or office setting.

Owners of my Cast Paper pieces are a unique group, always ones to trust their own sense of style, and comfortably expressing themselves with the art they select to inhabit their homes and work spaces.

"The Stream" triptych

Total dimensions  20"x 50", with a 2.5" depth

For our tenth10th Anniversary, my husband and I traveled the Northeastern United States.  We spent a memorable evening in a place called "Franconia Gap".  The small stream bubbling at the back of our camp site gave us an evening of the most lovely audible art.  This is a my visual depiction of that heavenly  sound we enjoyed throughout the night.

"Serenity" Triptych

This trio of dimensional images evokes a quiet, peaceful moment in time.  Colors and textures repeat in a gentle rhythm.  A matt background with metallic accents engage the senses.  Using classic and asymmetrical balance calms the mind.

"Waterfall"/Triptych

total dimensions 52" x 22",  with a 3" depth

A visit to Michigan's Upper Peninsula of Michigan inspired this vertical triptych.  We visited a number of water falls that year.   In time, I cast this triptych  to express both the splendor and delicate nature of the water so clear and cold, cascading  through space....delighting my senses with sight and sound, and an airy mist on my skin.

There are many new Wall/Bowls in the studio now including a 9 piece set reflecting the ideals of Feng Shui; a triptych depicting the serenity of the symbol of eternal renewal, the dragon fly; a 4 piece set reflecting an elegant quiet, and many more small and large Wall/Bowls.  Watch this page for new photos as pieces are completed.
