Welcome to my website! My name is Sherri Fulmer Moorer, and I am a writer in South Carolina. I have always had a great love of stories. I have been very fortunate and blessed to have some of my work published, including an inspirational book and several short stories. I write both inspirational non-fiction and fiction. Need A New Approach To Life?
Life is tough for everybody. We all face challenges that make it tough to live by faith in a fallen world. Let's face it - living by faith is tough when you live in a world that demonstrates it's fallen nature and crushes our hope every day.
We know the battle we face is not of flesh, but of the mind. The closer you walk with the Lord, the harder the devil will attack. Fortunately, we already have the victory through Christ. Now it's our job to defend that victory each and every day we live. The question is, how do you do this? Psychology to give you insight on how you can overcome your sinful human nature to find a life of faith through Christ. Science may say that religion is outdated, but my research has found that the Bible has a jump start on many concepts of modern psychology, and has been offering advice on better living far longer than the modern textbooks have!

The Lord has blessed me not only with Battleground Earth, but with having several of my short stories published in print as well! Two of my short stories appear in A Cup of Comfort for Christians (Adams Media 2006). Look in there for "Not Your Average Joe (or Jane)", and "The Evil of Conformity." It's full of many other inspirational stories and is sold in retail outlets nationwide. Assemblies of God - Women's Ministries posted my short story titled "Crossroads" in July 2007. Click here to read it. This story has been translated for publication in a Christian Magazine published in Portugal. Esprit Magazine, published by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Canada, printed my story "A Call for Hilarity" in their Summer 2008 issue.

Fiction Stories
Need a break from the real world? Sometimes you need to escape and let your imagination take you to other places.
"Move" is a long story about a woman in a new relationship that questions if she's sacrificed too much for her successful career. In a strange twist of fate, she is given the opportunity to see what life would have been like if she made different desicions. "Move" was a runner up in the Joyous Publishing Contest for June 2007. I have several unpublishes stories about ordinary people that face extraordinary situations. While writing fiction is a bit more time consuming, I find it enjoyable and fulfilling to craft a story that demonstrates the power of the human spirit.
