Silicon Valley Corsa was founded in August 1975 by and for Corvair owners and enthusiasts living in Santa Clara Valley and the surrounding area. It is dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and enjoyable uses of the Corvair Automobile.

Silicon Valley Corsa is a chartered chapter of “The Corvair Society of America” (CORSA National). Active membership in Silicon Valley Corsa requires membership in the National Club. An active membership in Silicon Valley Corsa and CORSA National entitles you to a subscription of our monthly newsletter “The Rear View” and the CORSA National monthly “The Corsa Communiqué”, as well as many other membership benefits and resources.

Silicon Valley Corsa active members enjoy the following benefits:
* Technical advice from an experienced membership of friendly Corvair people.

- Members of various ages and backgrounds sharing a common interest.
- Informally managed technical sessions on a variety of Corvair topics.

* Activities related to the Corvair automobile in a family social environment.

- Parades - Shows - Picnics - Rallies - Social gatherings

* Access to Silicon Valley Corsa Technical Library.

- CORSA Communiqués - Back issues of The Rear View

* Loan of club owned specialty tools and equipment.

Silicon Valley Corsa club meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month in the teacher’s lounge of Wilcox High School at 3250 Monroe Street, Santa Clara, CA. Meeting time is 7:30 P.M. and usually begins with an informal gathering in the parking lot.

Dues for active membership, including The Rear View newsletter and all club benefits, are $20 per year per family and are due each Jamuary. A ”Rear View only” subscription that includes just the newsletter and no other club benefits is $15 per year. CORSA National memberships is $35 per year per family. Checks and money orders to renew the national membership are due on the annual aniversary of your membership. For local membership checks or money orders should be made payable to “Corsa Inc.” and may be mailed to the Silicon Valley Corsa Membership Chairperson, or bring to the regular monthly meeting.
