The Berwyn Heights Police Officer's Association is affiliated with the International Union of Police Association, Maryland Coalition of Police and Deputy Sheriffs and the AFL-CIO. Since we were founded we have been able to schedule three officers to attend a Calibre Press Street Survival class in April that would have cost the Town $600.00 but is free. The members of the B.H.P.O.A. only want to work with the administration to make the Town of Berwyn Heights a even better place to live and work for everyone.

The Berwyn Heights Police Officer's Association was founded in October 1998. B.H.P.O.A. started to get the officers legal assistance regarding any civil, criminal, administrative, departmental or labor problems that they may have while preforming their duties as a Berwyn Heights Police officer. We are able to receive free training for the members of B.H.P.O.A. as well as other benefits that the Town can not afford to offer do to budget restraints.
