BILL REID            WAYNE REID

It's been my pleasure to operate on Bill and Wayne Reid's beautiful Cumberland Valley System for quite a number of years now. Many others have also shared this pleasure with the Reid Brothers and their layout. Wayne and Bill don't have a website and I just bought a new digital camera which I brought along to our last operating session. I thought perhaps some of you might like to experience an operating session presented on the internet as it happened on September 22, 2000. This was the "A" session of the operating scheme.

We have a monthly round-robin get together that we call "Bill n Dem", due to the fact that we regularly have 4 guys named Bill when we meet. The crew for this operating session included; Bill Jahnke (Dispatcher), Bill Reid (Yardmaster), Charlie Vlk (Assistant Yardmaster), Wayne Reid, Rich Weyand, Marshall Skibbe, Dave Liesse, Chris Williams and Bill Denton (All Engineers). Also GREAT MODEL RAILROADS 2001 has a track plan and article on the Cumberland Valley.
