Behind the Scenes at Everglades Foods, Inc.


EVERGLADES FOODS, INC is owned and operated by three partners:

Two of the three partners, Mark Gose and Chris Sebring, grew up and went to school in Sebring where they still live. They commute to LaBelle where EVERGLADES SEASONING is manufactured and distributed. The third partner, Seth Howard, was born in LaBelle and still lives there.

In 1992, these partners decided to purchase EVERGLADES SEASONING and the company, EVERGLADES FOODS, INC. was formed.

Along with the gang at Everglades Foods, Inc. is Al the Alligator. "Al" comes from the Everglades, and was 12 1/2 feet long when he was in the wild. He accompanies the gang to all the food shows and events that they attend around Florida. He can be seen in the Disney movie, "GONE FISHIN'". "Al" was taken on location in and around Florida by the movie crew, and even traveled to Hollywood for some extra scene footage.
