Originally drafted as a receiver. Was Bills defensive captain. Great straight-ahead power rusher. Five-time All-Star. Named to All-Time All-AFL Team. Played on 1963-66 Bills playoff teams.
The Bills added two blue stripes to their helmet for the 1965 season.
This cage facemask is as close as I can get to the type that Shaw and Sestak wore in the 1960's.
Billy Shaw's 1965 home jersey. Sleeve stripes were added for the 1964 season and remained that way throughout the rest of the decade.
Rear rubber bumper has been removed and stripes extended like the Bills wore during their AFL seasons. Number were added to the back of the helmet later in the decade.
