I specialize in rockscaping , some examples are Ponds, Waterfalls, RockGardens, Retaining Walls and Patios / Walkways. I also specialize in Tyndal Stone ( Limestone ) and other various native rocks from MB and ONT. All Ponds and Waterfalls are first created on a rough sketch between many meetings with the client. This can take weeks or it may take days, it all depends on what you want done. I will not start a project untill you are 100% satisfied with what we come up with for a design. Alot of designs also are free to change while under construction, as long as they do not hinder the master design, but alot of clients once they see their yards being transformed get more idea's and I will work with them to accomadate them into the master plan.I have never had a unhappy client and can give many of past clients for references.
I also do as you can see in the pictures Decks and Fences and of course Prefab Brick Patios, the install featured was a 3 week project and was made to host parties, thus lot's of weight, thus the heavy duty construction you may see. All work on a deck structurally comes with a 2 year warrenty, materials I obviously cannot warrenty.But the place where the materials are bought, and this can be your choice or mine, will usually warrenty their items, I have never had any troubles in this area.
I will also do tree planting etc, I will and can recomend what will grow well in your area and soil type, I will on occasion, time permiting of course go with you to any of the market gardeners of your choice so you can have a hands on experiance with the tree's and flowers etc, that will be used in your landscaping. Many find this very helpful as they to get to become part of the project as they to can pick within reason what can be planted in their yards.
Alot of yards I have encountered are usually disasters, and the clients are very unhappy with what they have, they want to always start fresh, meaning cutting tree's down etc. I will and always have tried to work around this and show them that some of their tree's and flowers can be used still in the project, some may obviously have to go,but most of the time clients are more then happy to have an old family tree saved or some of their parents old perenials used once again.
As for Ponds and Waterfalls, this is my strong point, being a lover of fish and water, I excell in this dept. I love making natural looking scenes and putting them in places where the whole family can enjoy them, not stuck in some corner where they cannot be enjoyed. One of my Favorites was done a few years ago, and we installed a rubber lined 1000 gallon pond just under the family eating area, it was a wonderful experiance for the owners as they could get up in the morning and watch their pond from inside the house. I also will help you out in chooseing pumps, fountains and types of waterplants that will do well in your pond. I can also winterize ponds so you can keep your fish outside year round.
I also do dry stream beds, and what I like to call, the no hassel front yard, meaning NO GRASS to cut, this is a big thing in places like BC and Arizona where the entire front yard and even the side and back are rockscaped in beautiful red shale. With the right mix of tree's, Large rocks and a water feature, you can have an amazing front yard, or back yard.
