The inhabitants of Lost Angeles had grown used to the tall
tales of Blood and Fire within the city limits. The government crackdowns on crime had
secured the appropriate elections, ran out the "unseemly of character and crime
lords" and with a Prince finally chosen things seemed to be finally in order.
Things aren't always as they appear. City elders seem to work towards a common goal
with their own dark purpose in mind. The theft of the figurine from the Museum of Egyptian
History ruffled the feathers of more than one clan. A local cop, recently promoted to US
Marshall, was an unlikely hero. He alone saved the hapless victim, and kept order where
there would be chaos. A building fire took only one life, and apparently destroyed an
important part of the puzzle regarding the ancient power of the figurine.
