Love is Blue
I think that I'm happiest in my head,
When I've got my woman in my bed,
She play, she loves, she fills my dreams,
My life's so full it bursts its seams!
And if you want my own advice,
The broth's no good without its spice,
Do it now, don't sit and wait,
Open your heart and find your mate!
Please let her in, don't BE afraid,
Love your girl, don't just get laid,
Make her part of all you do,
Let her know your love is true!
So then at night when lights go dim,
And nightingales do take the whim,
They'll sing the song of love for you,
And you'll know what I mean by Blue!

I See the Garden in Your Eyes
When I look at you
I see what Adam saw
In Eve’s first breath
I feel the longing
Of Adam’s heart
When she opened her eyes
When I look at you
I know what Adam felt
When their eyes met
For the very first time
And Adam saw
The piece of his soul
That he didn’t know was missing
Until he saw it shining back at him
In her eyes.

Dear Cinderella
Once upon a way back time,
Long before my words could rhyme,
Was a cute and charming fella,
On a quest for Cinderella,
Though he courted so many girls,
Most were stones and none were pearls.
And search he did, across the land,
But found he none to give his hand.
Search he did, both far and wide,
Courting girls from every side,
Though many, cute, some were fair,
(None came close to your brown hair.)
His only want, a queen to find,
A fair request, or do you mind?
Good things come to those who wait,
(God has always filled my plate.)
Of all the things that I have seen,
No king's complete without his queen,
As your prince I don't mind the wait,
So if you would please keep our date!

I Close My Eyes
I close my eyes,
And hold them tight,
So I may dream,
Of you at night,
And in my dreams,
I don't count sheep,
I think of you,
For peaceful sleep,
And then when dawn,
Doth wake my head,
I've been with you,
But not in bed.

My Fraulein
My fraulein is from East Berlin,
And late at night she sneaks me in,
We make love in her parents’ house,
And when she comes she’s like a mouse.
She trembles, shudders, shakes the bed,
But as for sound she’s like the dead,
She makes no utter, not a peep,
And when I come I fall asleep.

Oats and Hay
Twas a girl that worked next door,
Had to work or else be poor,
But then she found a better way,
And went to work with oats and hay!
But of all the things she'd rather do,
Here she sits and talks to "Blue".

If I Were
Just a quick and tiny verse,
From the heart and not the purse,
To write it down it heals the wound,
Though in my soul I feel marooned.
Ahem.
By the “Love Bug” I’ve been bitten,
With this girl I am most smitten,
I’d like to say, “I love you, girl”
But I cannot, I’m only Earl.
Though if I were a handsome king,
Now that would be another thing,
I’d woo her, court her, make her mine,
And our two lives I would entwine.

Fenchurch
I wonder when,
I saw her last,
I know it’s true,
That time has past,
Was that one her,
I saw last night,
While gazing at,
The Cyber’s light?
Though late at night,
I random search,
I wonder where’s,
My fair Fenchurch,
I wonder where,
Sweet Fenny went,
Does she still think,
I’m Arthur Dent?

Patty
I like your smile,
I like your style,
I’m glad we had,
A little while,
To share the joys,
That life can bring,
When walking in,
The months of spring,
And that we shared,
Some time as two,
Arm in arm,
As lovers do,
Sharing hips and lips,
And a warm embrace,
And waking up,
In a happy place,
Sweet Patty dear,
You are a treat,
From the top of your head,
To the soles of your feet,
I hope you have,
A lovely day,
When at last my words,
They come your way.

For Kerry
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
See you Kerry from afar?
Do you watch her, guide her way,
Can you tell how long she'll stay?
Or can you give her dreams of peace,
And wrap her in a golden fleece,
So that each morn she wakes with smiles,
That last her o'er her many miles,
And when at last a home she makes,
Give her the best, for goodness sakes.

It’s Funny
It’s funny how our lives can turn,
From cold as ice to intense burn,
With just a smile or friendly wink,
A lover puts us in the pink!
