This one of a kind flute was created specialy for Judy G. as a gift for her husband Mark...
It is keyed in base D and it's mystical carvings are of the rare Kermode Bear appearing to emerge from the carved white birch tree...
This unique bear is actually from the black bear gene pool and only on there special island in western Canada can one find this pure "white" black bear...
This flute is a very good example of the unmatched details and original designs that are possible in a Bluefeather Flute....

Snowy Owl
This one of a kind flute is created from a very special peice of butternut that is well over 100 years old....It was salvaged from an old barn in the northeast corner of Connecticut....This beautifull big bore flute is keyed in D sharp...paired with the aged butternut the deep base tone is truly a special combination....The carvings on the flute are that of the white birch and the wood beads match these carvings...

Thank you for visiting the Bluefeather Gallery....I almost had as much joy creating this as I have creating the flutes....
The ideas for each flute's creation comes to me when I am surrounded by nature.....
The wood I use is the oldest and the best grade I can find.....
The tone for each flute is perfect....The way that each flute responds to the player is magical....
The carved fetishes atop the airway blocks are life like....
The carvings on the flute bodies appear like mystical visions in the forest....
I believe a flute is as important to it's owner as the owner is to the Creator.....
It is a tool that has the power to heal and must be made with that utmost purpose in mind....
