Hi everyone... This is PPJunior. If you surf around on these pages you can find out quite a bit about me & the Blues that dog my life... The rest you don't want to know.
In 1966 I played guitar for the Drifters during their summer engagement at the Jersey Shore. Johnny Moore was the lead vocalist...
In 1968 I performed with Sam & Dave for a short while.. At that time they were quarreling but still put on an excellent show..
From 1971-1974 I chauffeured Sonny Terry from gig to gig in the Northeast US. As payment he tutored me on the ways of a Bluesman & I got to play guitar with the Master.  
Here I am performing with Joe Louis Walker.. Joe inspired me to continue on after my son Joel's death. Thanks
Pinetop & I go back a few.. I remember one night in the mid 80's callin Chicago to get the recipe for porkchops & gravy from Mrs. Perkins.. We washed it down with a Heinekin..
Opening for Lil Ed was a blast.. We talked about spiritual things between sets & below said goodbye for the camera's.. I once fixed his guitar backstage at the Count Basie Theater during the Alligator tour in '92..
I found Willie Big Eyes wandering around the parking lot one night. He never told me what he was lookin for.
PP&Hooch were dominant figures on the Acoustic Blues scene in Memphis 2007 by winning the venue level and placing 3rd in the Finals. My Brother Hooch is the best Harp on the planet.
One woman remarked "his fly is open"... another one said "he has his suits tailored that way

I opened for Deborah Coleman at the SteppingStone Blues Fest. It was pouring rain when we found this refuge for a photo opp.. Below is my mug & the '54 Silvertone in the April '06 edition of Living Blues Mag.
