Troy will be the first to admit that his golf game is up and down, but there is no denying the fact that the golfing bug has bitten him hard. On April 27, 1998, Troy played in the Dallas Morning News Sports Day Corporate Golf Championship at the Dallas Athletic Club, along with Chan Gailey, Emmitt Smith, and Jim Mauer. Troy, whose handicap was listed at 15 for the tournament, shot a career best 73, one shot over par, to lead his fellow Cowboys to the Championship victory. In 1999, Troy ended the off-season with a handicap of 7 - he just keeps getting better and better.
