Approximately 250 torchbearers were involved in the relay that started in Fort Worth early this morning and then went through Arlington, before concluding in Dallas tonight. The glass, copper and aluminum torches carried by each torchbearer weigh three pounds and are approximately 33 inches tall. Each torchbearer carried his or her own torch.
