September 29, 2002 - Troy, Joe, and Cris are scheduled to broadcast the Dallas Cowboys at St. Louis Rams, 1:00 p.m. eastern.

September 23, 2002 - Troy was at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston this afternoon to dedicate "The Zone," a pre-teen and teen area at the hospital. Troy also took pictures with patients, distributed footballs and was interviewed by patients at Radio Lollipop, the hospital's radio station. The Zone was constructed with support from the Troy Aikman Foundation, Teammates for Kids Foundation and STARBRIGHT Foundation. www.texaschildrenshospital.org.

September 8, 2002 - Troy, Joe, and Cris are scheduled to broadcast the St. Louis Rams at Denver Broncos, 4:15 p.m. eastern.

September 5, 2002 - Troy on some daddy duties: "You bet I change diapers. I've learned in a hurry you have to be proactive in those situations." Troy on dressing up as Mr. T for the new FOX commercials: "It took seven takes because we couldn't get Joe [Buck] and Cris [Collinsworth] and Michael [Irvin] to stop laughing at me."

Troy in a mohawkAugust 23, 2002 - Troy, Joe, and Cris called the preseason game between the Baltimore Ravens at the Philadelphia Eagles. Have you seen Troy in the blond mohawk and Mr. T getup? I pity the fool who doesn't watch FOX football this season! The A-Team commercials are hysterical!

August 16, 2002 - Troy, Joe and Cris made their official debut in the FOX booth today when they worked the broadcast for the preseason game between the Chicago Bears at the St. Louis Rams.

August 9, 2002 - Troy, Joe Buck and Cris Collinsworth broadcast a practice game today. The trio was at Texas Stadium for their "pre-preseason work," calling the Cowboys-Raiders exhibition game, which was viewed only by Fox executives.

July 30, 2002 - It's a girl! Alexa Marie Aikman arrived today at 1:35 p.m. at Plano Presbyterian Hospital. Alex, as she will be called, weighed in at 8.85 lbs and was 21 inches long. She is healthy, doing well, and looks just like big sister Jordan. Congratulations to mom Rhonda, dad Troy, and big sisters Rachel and Jordan!

That's Roger Staubach on the left, Troy Aikman on the right, and UT-Austin quarterback Chris Simms (son of former New York Giants QB Phil Simms) in the center. Referring to the photo shoot Simms said, "How many times do you get to spend time hanging out with two of your idols? That was really about the coolest thing I've ever done."

July 23, 2002 - In his column in the Dallas Morning News, Barry Horn writes that Fox's NFL broadcasters will be attending the network's preseason seminar next week in Los Angeles. He also pointed out that FOX has 12 Cowboys games on its schedule, including the Thanksgiving Day game which has traditionally been reserved for the No. 1 team (think Aikman, Buck and Collinsworth). Additionally, the Cowboys have asked FOX to have Troy or Daryl Johnston work the game in which Emmitt Smith is most likely to break Walter Payton's career rushing mark. FOX has said it will do what it can to accommodate the Cowboys' request.

June 22, 2002 - Troy was at the Dallas Desperados game and watched them beat the Tampa Bay Storm 62-56 in overtime.

June 7, 2002 - Troy played in the Allegiant Bank Mike Martz Celebrity Golf Classic at the Fox Run Golf Club, in St. Louis, Missouri. The tournament benefits the Betty Martz Memorial Fund for Alzheimer’s Research at Washington University and the St. Louis Metro Make-A-Wish Foundation.

May 13, 2002 - Troy played in the Lee Jarmon Alzheimer's Pro-Am Golf Tournament at Gleneagles Country Club in Plano, Texas.

May 6, 2002 - The Troy Aikman Corporate Golf Invitational benefitting the Troy Aikman Foundation was held at Glen Eagles Country Club in Plano, Texas, today.

May 4, 2002 - Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin were back in Dallas at a football game this evening, and once again # 8 was throwing passes to # 88. Now before you get too excited, # 8 was Dallas Desperados quarterback Andy Kelly and # 88 was offensive specialist Dialleo Burks. Troy was there as a spectator for the Desperados home opener, and Michael was up in the broadcast booth as the analyst. The Desperados are a new Arena Football League team, owned by the Dallas Cowboys and coached by Joe Avezzano. The D dropped their home opener to the Los Angeles Avengers 52-51 (that's what happens when your kicking team botches three extra points!). www.dallasdesperados.com
